Ingredients for Skin: 180 g wheat starch 2 tbsp tapioca flour 1 tsp salt 300 ml Boiling Hot water 1.5 tbsp cooking oil
Ingredients for filling: 300 g prawns(shelled, wiped dry, chopped) 50 g bamboo shoot(diced finely, squeezed dry) 50 g fatty pork(blanched and dice finely) 1 tsp salt 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp sesame oil 1 tsp ground pepper 1 egg white 1 tbsp corn starch
Method: 1. mix wheat starch and boiling hot water together in a bowl. quickly stir using chopsticks. 2. let it cool for a while(about 10 mins), then add rest of ingredients. 3. Knead into a dough. Roll the dough into a long sausage. 4. cut and shape into 30 balls. Set aside. 5. Mixed all the fillings ingredients together till well mixed 6. take each dough ball, flatten it with a rolling pin. 7. Add 1 tsp of filling on it. 8. Fold the sides..then fold the bottom to seal the sides. 9. Steam for 10 mins. 10. Lightly brush with cooking oil just before serving.
